Editorial responsibility
Website content is published or reviewed by the HumanInChain editorial team. The publisher, publication or modification date, and public sources are identified on public pages.
Independence and disclosure
HumanInChain describes itself as an independent platform. Material support or relationships that could affect a specific report must be clearly disclosed with that report.
Language and translation
Persian and English editions use separate URLs. Translation must not change a claim, date, name, source or confidence label.
Images
A portrait must be matched to the person’s name and a public source. Unrelated images, generated faces and substitute portraits are not used for victims.
Violence and dignity
The purpose is documentation and awareness, not sensational display. Disturbing imagery is used only when editorially necessary and with an appropriate warning.
