Iranian outlets reported on July 8 that Niloufar (Fatemeh) Haddadi, a 49-year-old voice actor and dubbing director, had died at home. Initial reports attributed her death to cardiac arrest and described her professional work in voice acting, dubbing direction, translation and theatre.

On August 6, Iran International English cited Khabaraneha, an activist-run Telegram channel operated by civil activist Mehdi Mahmoudian, as reporting that Haddadi’s body was found at home several days after her death and that an investigation remained open. The same account said forensic toxicology results had not been released.

According to Iran International, Khabaraneha also alleged that Haddadi was arrested in late April after security police raided her home, later released on bail, and accused of espionage and “cooperation with hostile governments.” Those details had not been confirmed by a second independent organization at the time of publication, and HumanInChain does not present them as established fact.

The same source alleged that her burial location was changed and authorities prevented a memorial ceremony. No public toxicology result or official final determination of the cause of death was found in the sources reviewed. The record remains open for review and correction with all disputed details attributed.
